Every homemaker knows that once winter has said goodbye, it's time for a major spring cleaning. Things get cleaned, swept, dusted, and decluttered. The entire apartment is aired out, the winter mustiness is eliminated, and a fresh spring breeze moves in.
What is a cleaning routine for the apartment, something you don't really think about, is a spring fitting for our skin.
Residual sweat, dead skin cells, keratinized granules, metabolic waste, and other deposits make winter skin appear gray, poorly circulated, coarse-pored, deeply wrinkled, rough, and often neglected. It feels as if the skin is no longer absorbing anything; indeed, it even resists previously well-tolerated skincare products. Furthermore, it begins to flake in places, and intense itching often develops as well.
Now is the time to rid the skin of the “baggage” of winter and revitalize it.
Now you can, or rather, should, incorporate a deep-cleansing peeling treatment into your skincare routine. Of course, an appointment with a Chris Farrell esthetician is the best option. But you can also easily do a little "spring cleaning" at home.
Your Chris Farrell esthetician will apply our Oceanic Algae Scrub, combined with our Biolight treatment, to rid your skin of dead skin cells and impurities. An intensive comedone treatment will also be performed. Our Desincrusting Mask, in conjunction with Biolight, gently and deeply cleanses your pores. Finally, a Green Fire Water Pill Mask will leave your skin looking fresh, clear, and even-toned. Of course, this doesn't happen all at once. Three to four treatment sessions are required. But then you can truly look forward to spring.
And this is how you work at home, in home treatment:
Day 1:
Cleanse your skin with our cleansing milk. Then tone your skin with the toner.
Mix approximately 1 tablespoon of our Thalasso Algae Scrub with either the same amount of cleansing milk or the Balance pH Mask to form a paste. Apply the mixture generously to your skin (avoiding the eyes and lips). Leave the cream scrub on for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
Then apply your tonic again and complete your skincare routine as usual.
Day 2:
There should be 4-5 days between the first and second treatment.
Now comes the "coarse exfoliation." Cleanse and tone as usual. Now mix the Thalasso Algae Peeling with still, lukewarm water to form a paste. (Caution: add water only drop by drop, otherwise the mask will become too runny). Now apply the peeling mixture to your skin, ideally with a fine fan brush. Avoid the eyes and lips. After 10-12 minutes, remove the peeling. In the T-zone area, you can gently rub off the hardened mask. Remove all residue completely with clean water, but please do not rub. Now tone your skin with your usual toner and proceed as normal.
Day 3:
Now we're getting into the depths! There must be 7 days between day 2 and day 3.
After your usual cleansing routine, apply our Desincrusting Mask. Avoid lips and eyes. The mask will harden during the 10-12 minute application time. Then, remove the mask as usual with plenty of water. Follow with your usual toning and moisturizing routine.
Always schedule these 3 treatments for days when you have little stress; late afternoon or early evening is best.
This way you can welcome spring in a well-groomed and radiant way.
I hope you enjoy it.
Yours sincerely, Chris Farrell
